Dense mangrove forests, bioluminescent algae, and shifting saltmarshes dominate this flood-prone stretch of coastline. Thick, brackish waters teem with amphibious fauna and vine-choked ruins. The air hums with arcane humidityβ€”storms roll inland as if summoned. Isolated and largely unmapped, the Mire defies conquest, ruled instead by forgotten druidic circles, parasitic monarchies, and whispered names beneath the fen. Mists never lift entirely, concealing relics of pre-fall civilizations and portals to the Deep Realms. Biome Influence: Coastal wetland with strong brinewater influence, tropical-to-subtropical humidity, unstable terrain prone to seasonal inundation, and heavy magical interference from planar convergence zones. Cultural Identity: Locals are secretive and adaptedβ€”skin mottled by swamp minerals, eyes adjusted to perpetual mist.
