Description

Hidden in the southeastern shadows of the village, the Murkroot Shrine is a sacred site carved from a massive fungal stump, its surface etched with swirling goblin runes. The altar is adorned with polished beast skulls and clusters of glowing spores that cast an eerie green light. Woven root mats surround the shrine, where goblin shamans kneel to offer trinkets—bones, feathers, and shiny stones—to the swamp spirits. The air vibrates with low, guttural chants, and a faint fungal fog clings to the ground, obscuring the shrine from outsiders.
