A tall and slight elf wizard with a cloak stitched from beetle wings that shimmer in static pulses. Her pale fingers are always dusted with chalk, and her hair floats slightly around her head as if lifted by a breeze no one else feels. Tiny sensor crystals orbit her shoulders, blinking in rhythmic harmony with her heartbeat.
personality
Neive is curious and dreamy. She talks to her equipment like it’s alive and often forgets people are listening. She’s brilliant but she's very absent minded and is more interested in patterns and vibrations in the tunnels than in politics or praise.
backstory
Neive was always an odd wizard. She always enjoyed any kind of magic that had to do with sound or vibration. She grew up in the Spindle and caused as soon as she learned how to cast Minor Illusion, constantly making noises everywhere she went. Captain Orin Vellak saw potential in Neive and her ability to survey unstable tunnel zones and offered for her to join the Cudgel, which she did right away. Neive found her home at the Hilt, where she travels alongside different groups of delvers into the depths of the greatclub tunnels. She is one of the more trustworthy guides, as she has become more familiar with the different vibrations of the tunnels, allowing her to feel when the different kinds of insects within are stirring, and which paths are safer than others.
