A city built in a fallen god-weapon, where guilds rule, delvers vanish, and every choice echoes through tunnels of chitin, ash, and ambition. Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure!

Author's Note: Welcome to Odrun Fell, a Friends and Fables adventure into a world carved from myth and bone, where a shattered god-weapon's remains fuel a city of ambition, ritual, and ruin. From the lacquered towers of the Sprigs to the ichor-slick markets of the Barrows, every breath in this living graveyard is measured in trade, loyalty, and danger. Here, delvers vanish into the greatclub tunnels, masked beasts drift through haunted groves, and the softest words can carry more weight than any blade. The guilds squabble for dominance, adventurers bleed for coin or cause, and the club itself waits beneath it all like a buried truth. This game is a journey into beauty and rot, into candlelit politics and chitin-armored survival. Whether you walk with Cudgel steel, Promissory blades, or Barley-bred spiders on your shoulder, your choices will echo through the halls of power and the bones of the world. Odrun Fell is a city of many doors, how will you play in this adventure? Thank you for playing Friends and Fables!

appearance
A broad-shouldered half-orc with a barrel chest and arms like tree limbs, resting in a carved wheeled chair of bonewood and brass. His slate-grey skin is lined with faint green scars, and his tusks—one cracked, the other gilded—hint at a life of hardship and resilience. He wears a sleeveless apothecary’s wrap faded to the color of old moss, stained with herbs, oils, and ash. Twin satchels hang at either side of his chair, filled with potions, tinctures, and hand-rolled bandages. His hair is tied back in a short warrior’s knot, and his eyes—soft brown and eternally tired—hold a kind of steady warmth that many in the Hilt have come to depend on more than steel.
personality
Tennel is a calm and measured soul, the kind of presence that seems to slow the tempo of a room just by existing in it. Though he bears no formal title, many in the Hilt treat him with the same reverence they might offer a battle-scarred commander. Underneath his quiet demeanor is a mind that never stops observing. Tennel sees the cracks in people long before they break, a skill he acquired in tunnels where delay meant death. He has an apothecary’s pragmatism and a parent’s patience, but he won’t tolerate cruelty or arrogance. When someone stumbles into the Hearth swaggering too loud or trying to pick fights, it takes just a glance from Tennel for the room to reset.
backstory
Tennel was once a respected delver for the Cudgel, known for his steady hands and keen knowledge of insect anatomy. He worked as a field medic and apothecary during high-risk expeditions into the deeper parts of the Handle. During a routine patrol, Tennel’s team was ambushed by a, Ironmandible Beetle that burst from the wall like a living boulder. He saved three others, holding the line with shield and blade until the creature crushed his legs and fled with a roar. When he awoke days later, he was already a hero, but no longer a delver. Rather than drown in bitterness, Tennel poured his purpose into the Burrowlight Hearth. He used his payout and what savings he had to retrofit an old insect-tamer’s barracks into a sanctuary for injured delvers. Tennel doesn’t speak much of his old life, but his eyes light up when he sees someone sleep a full night or smile over a bowl of soup.
