Description
These massive, territorial crustaceans nest in the silt-buried foundations of old bridges and drift-choked eddies throughout the Veinspring. Though often passive, they lash out when threatened or baited by scent, snapping skiffs in half or dragging fishers into the current. The Barleys and Snapline Keepers both harvest and fear them, knowing their claws can shear silksteel if angered.
