Description
Known colloquially as Sweetmaws, these iridescent beetles are the backbone of nectar production in the Barley Fields. Bred to graze on specially cultivated nectar stones that ring the warm algae-fed Nectarway Pools, they metabolize the mineral-rich resin into a thick, golden secretion. This nectar is refined into healing balms, energy stimulants, and ceremonial liqueurs prized in the Sprigs. Each Sweetmaw line produces a subtly different flavor and potency, influenced by breeding stock, moon phase, and pool balance.
