Description

Threadspike Weaverlings are aggressive spider-insect hybrids bred for silk harvesting before the vault’s collapse. Unlike docile webspinners, they evolved aggressive territorial patterns and piercing silk-thread spikes. They can sew silk with enough tension to puncture armor, and their bodies are small enough to move through cracks, making them difficult to pin down once provoked.

(Recharge 5–6) As a bonus action, the Weaverling can fire a thread spike at a creature within 20 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 6 (1d10 + 1) piercing damage and become restrained by silk (escape DC 12).
