Description
Ashemark is a fortified duchy nestled within the towering mountains of the Westerlands, ruled by the noble House Marbrand. It is known for its rugged terrain, strategic mountain passes, and resilient inhabitants skilled in both warfare and mountain survival.
Appearance
The duchy is characterized by steep, rocky mountain slopes covered with dense pine forests, scattered stone villages, and a central castle perched on a craggy peak overlooking the valley below. Snow caps the highest peaks year-round, and narrow winding roads connect the isolated settlements.
