A grim, black stone castle built by Valyrians using arcane fire and sorcery, shaped to resemble dragons with intricate dragon-themed architecture including gates, torches, wings, tails, and gargoyles. It features a central keep called the Stone Drum, a Great Hall shaped like a dragon, a fishing village port, a library, and a garden with wild roses and tall dark trees.
The castle is wrought from black stone with dragon motifs everywhere: small dragons frame gates, dragon claws hold torches, great wings cover the armory, and dragon tails form staircases. Gargoyles and grotesques resembling mythical creatures serve as crenellations. The Stone Drum tower looms with a high stone roofed bridge leading to dungeons, and the Great Hall's red doors sit in a dragon's mouth. The garden is dense with thorny hedges and wild roses, emitting a piney scent.
