Description
Oakenshield is the easternmost of the Shield Islands, near the mouth of the river Mander, ruled by House Hewett. The island features Lord Hewett's Town, a bustling port with a castle that has thick walls and studded oaken gates, symbolizing the house's ancient arms.
Appearance
The island is lush and green with dense oak forests. Lord Hewett's Town is a busy harbor town with stone buildings and wooden docks. The castle sits prominently on a hill overlooking the harbor, its walls thick and gates studded with iron, bearing the oaken escutcheon of House Hewett. The sea around the island is often calm, reflecting the blue and white undulating patterns of the house's banner.
