The maze is designed to amplify disorientation and despair, with illusions and false paths leading to dead ends or traps. The constant clanging of shifting metal and the cries of the trapped souls create a cacophony of suffering. The air is thick with the metallic tang of blood and the acrid smell of ozone, a testament to the constant friction and torment.
