Echoes of Grimdark - Lightward Beginnings.

A tall, broad-shouldered human paladin with gleaming golden-blonde hair always perfectly windswept, wearing pristine silver-and-white armor adorned with glowing runes of protection. He wears a cloak bearing his family crest: a sword piercing a sunburst, and wields a longsword named Dawnbreak that radiates literal holy light when unsheathed.

Immensely chivalrous to a fault — will hold open doors for monsters; deep sense of duty, but is often hilariously out of touch with casual banter.

Sir Caelan Virehart hails from the ancient noble house of Virehart, long-time allies of the original Lightwardens. Raised on stories of glory, honor, and radiant sacrifice, Caelan dedicated his life to embodying those ideals. Trained in the capital’s Sacred Citadel, he graduated top of his class with immaculate discipline, and then — much to his family’s surprise — requested assignment not in the royal court… but in the Grimdark Vault. He believes that evil stirs where light fears to tread, and that is where he must go.
