"Echoes of Grimdark" begins in Lightward Bastion, a city built in defiance of the long-banished Demon Lord Grimdark. Heroes from all walks of life gather at the Lightward Guild, seeking glory, treasure, or revenge. Their journey starts in the upper floors of the Grimdark Vault—a vast, ever-shifting dungeon of monsters, traps, and ancient echoes of evil. This is the tale of their beginnings, their bonds, and the light they carry into the dark.
Author's Note: This is an adventure that begins at level 1, and is meant to introduce the players to the world. It is a work in progress that over time I hope to flesh out into a whole world of dungeon delving.

Description
The heart of the Lightward Bastion, this bustling town center is a hub of activity, filled with merchants, townsfolk, and adventurers. The air is alive with the sounds of haggling, laughter, and the distant clang of blacksmiths at work, all under the watchful gaze of the towering Lightward Keep.
Appearance
The town center features cobblestone streets lined with colorful market stalls, a large fountain at its center, and the imposing Lightward Keep looming in the background. Bright banners flutter in the breeze, and the scent of fresh bread and spices fills the air.
