Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki’s two sons, Indra and Asura, inherit his chakra and ideals but differ in philosophy. Indra, the elder, possesses prodigious talent and awakens the Sharingan, believing peace can only be achieved through power and control. Asura, less gifted by nature, learns strength through hard work, compassion, and cooperation, embodying the belief that peace comes from love and unity. When Hagoromo chooses Asura as his successor, Indra, consumed by pride and jealousy, wages war against his brother. Their conflict marks the beginning of a blood feud that spans generations, with Indra’s descendants forming the proud and powerful Uchiha Clan, while Asura’s lineage becomes the foundation of the resilient and compassionate Senju Clan. This rivalry births the cycle of hatred that will echo throughout shinobi history, shaping the world’s destiny long after their deaths.
