The Shinobi World

Though the founding of Konohagakure brings a brief era of peace, the ideological divide between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha deepens. Madara, disillusioned by the village's structure and fearing that the Uchiha will be oppressed under Senju rule, seeks to challenge Hashirama’s vision. He abandons the village and, after acquiring the power of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and the Nine-Tails, he returns to wage war against his former friend. The two clash in a titanic battle at the Valley of the End, where nature itself is scarred by their power. In the end, Hashirama defeats Madara, who is believed to have died. A statue of each man is erected on opposite cliffs as a symbol of their ideals—and the beginning of a new legacy shaped by both their hopes and failures. Unbeknownst to the world, Madara survives and vanishes into the shadows, beginning to weave the threads of a plan that will span generations.
