Fūinjutsu is the art of sealing techniques, a specialized and highly complex branch of ninjutsu that uses chakra and written symbols—typically in the form of kanji—to contain, restrict, or manipulate objects, chakra, or even living beings. These techniques can seal away weapons, suppress powerful chakra, trap enemies, or create intricate barriers and contracts, such as summoning pacts or cursed seals. Fūinjutsu requires exceptional chakra control, intelligence, and preparation, often involving scrolls, tags, or drawn symbols as mediums. While not flashy in combat, it is incredibly versatile and dangerous in the hands of a skilled user, capable of turning the tide of battle or locking away even the most powerful threats.
