Black Hollow

O
Ostalius

Black Hollow is cursed, sealed within a living fog that traps all who enter—no one leaves. Roads vanish, trees twist, and time frays. At the hamlet’s heart stands a rotting orphanage, echoing with phantom laughter and footsteps in empty halls. Shadows move on their own. The longer you stay, the more the fog gets inside you—changing your thoughts, your memories. In Black Hollow, escape isn’t just unlikely—it’s forgotten.

Description

Nestled south, just outside the ominous Black Hollows Cursed Lands, this campsite serves as a temporary refuge for weary travelers. Surrounded by towering trees that seem to whisper secrets, the area sits south of Black Hollow's entrance path which is covered by what appears like a living fog. A worn path leads through the area towards Black Hollow, where many adventurers have ventured but few have returned.

Appearance

The campsite features a few weathered tents, a central fire pit with charred logs, and scattered stones that serve as makeshift seating. The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and pine, while the flickering shadows cast by the fire dance eerily in the fog. a dirt way leads to a fog which serves as the entrance to the Cursed Lands of Black Hollow.
