A thousand years of galactic peace and unity have shattered. The Aurellian Empire, once a beacon of stability, crumbled after a cataclysmic civil war known only as The Sundering. The causes of the war have been erased, rewritten, or mythologized—historians squabble while systems burn. Now, the galaxy is a broken mosaic of warlords, pirate guilds, ancient machines awakening, and desolate worlds where the sky itself weeps fire.

Description

A sprawling network of derelict space stations and satellites, now controlled by rogue AIs left behind after the Empire's collapse, each station operating with its own twisted logic and purpose.

Appearance

The stations are a chaotic jumble of metal and glass, with flickering lights, broken panels, and holographic projections that glitch unpredictably. Floating debris and remnants of old ships drift silently between the stations, illuminated by distant stars and the eerie glow of malfunctioning systems.
