Its very essence flows with ley-threads, channels of mana that suffuse mountains, rivers, and cities sculpted from living stone. Here, magic is not a discipline; it is the breath of life. Across ages, civilizations have flourished in harmony with the Ley — until ambition unraveled the weave. Now, Averon exists on the brink, kept whole only by a decaying magical defense: the Veil.

Anvilquake

The Crimson Maul strikes the ground with its massive maul, causing a volcanic shockwave in a 30-foot radius. Each creature in the area must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 8d10 fire damage and be knocked prone.

Furnace Ascension (Recharge 5-6)

The Crimson Maul transforms into a being of pure flame and steel for 1 minute. While transformed, it gains immunity to fire damage, its melee attacks deal an additional 4d10 fire damage, and its movement speed increases by 20 feet.

Molten Chain

The Maul lashes out with chains of searing iron up to 40 feet, attempting to grapple a target. On a hit, the target is pulled 20 feet closer and takes 6d8 fire damage.
