Its very essence flows with ley-threads, channels of mana that suffuse mountains, rivers, and cities sculpted from living stone. Here, magic is not a discipline; it is the breath of life. Across ages, civilizations have flourished in harmony with the Ley — until ambition unraveled the weave. Now, Averon exists on the brink, kept whole only by a decaying magical defense: the Veil.

Description

A legendary shadow wyrm linked to the Banner of the Abyss, known for its elusive presence and mastery of shadow magic and curses. It exists more as a whisper and reflection than a physical form, feared for its ability to infiltrate minds and bind foes in unbreakable coils of dark logic.

Deep Spiral Coil

The Wyrm targets one creature within 30 feet, binding it in a magical coil that tightens with resistance. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained, and each failed save increases the coil's grip, dealing psychic damage and imposing disadvantage on saving throws to escape.

Echo Parasite

The Wyrm infects a target within 60 feet with auditory hallucinations, causing disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws for 1 minute unless the target succeeds on a Wisdom saving throw.

Silken Slither

The Wyrm can move through solid objects and barriers without making a sound, allowing it to bypass physical defenses and ambush foes.
