Author's Note: This is a Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in the gritty world of delinquent anime, inspired by Tokyo Revengers, Wind Breaker, and Crows Zero. There’s no magic, no monsters — just fists, loyalty, betrayal, and pride. Set in the backstreets of Yokohama, where rival street crews rule the night and high school is more warzone than safe haven, your character is part of a generation struggling to rise above violence while surviving inside it. Fights break out over turf, respect, and revenge. Bonds are everything — and can break in an instant. Will you be a hot-headed brawler trying to protect your crew, a quiet strategist with a hidden past, or a runaway seeking redemption? Create your own character or pick from those already here. Description

Kurokawa Ward is a gritty, neon-splashed district on the edge of Tokyo’s sprawl — a place where concrete jungles meet rusted rooftops, and silence rarely lasts longer than a passing train. It’s a city ward that never quite healed from the economic drop-off of the late 2000s, leaving behind half-abandoned shopping centers, graffiti-covered alleyways, and fractured communities trying to rebuild their own order. During the day, it buzzes with life: ramen carts in the backstreets, shop shutters rattling open, and students from rival schools passing each other with silent stares and clenched fists. But at night, Kurokawa becomes something else entirely — a battleground of factions, philosophies, and unspoken grudges. Every corner has a name, every rooftop holds a story, and every streetlight casts shadows that seem to move. In Kurokawa, strength speaks louder than authority, and your reputation is carved not in ink, but in bruises. Yet beneath the tension, there’s beauty.

Appearance

Kurokawa Ward centers around Tenno High School, the hotspot for student life and faction conflict. To the north is Sakura Hill Cemetery, a dueling ground. East lies the Library District, held by the Glass Garden. South are the Iron Flats, ruled by the Red Circle, and nearby, the Daiyama Mall Ruins, now a tournament zone. West sits Kogane Park, home of the Wild Hounds. The Dojo Strip to the southwest houses The Forge. Beneath the city runs the Underspine, used by the White Vultures.
