backstory
Born in the shadow of the Cloakwood, Raven was once a Circle of the Moon druid serving Silvanus in the great forest. Her gift for speaking with the spirits of nature made her a respected voice among her grove, but everything changed during the Time of Troubles when the gods walked among mortals. When Myrkul, the Lord of Bones, fell during his battle with Midnight, fragments of his divine essence scattered across the land. One such fragment found its way to Raven during a ritual communion with the forest spirits. The divine spark of death magic fused with her druidic powers, creating something unprecedented - a druid who could speak not just to nature spirits, but to the restless dead. Her transformation horrified her fellow druids. The Circle branded her an abomination and cast her out, viewing her necromantic abilities as a corruption of the natural order. Exiled and hunted, she fled to the wild places beyond civilization's reach.
