Dr. Syris Christopher, known as Sy, is a mid-50s Nanotech-Enhanced Human and Gremond's best friend and research partner. With a background in military testing, Sy is nonstranger to researching Nanotech enhancements. They recently earned a Nobel Prize for their groundbreaking research. However, Sy leads a double life, secretly working for the growing resistance group The Red Banner, handling field assets positioned around town, and designing and selling new drugs to the underground. He often finds addicts to volunteer as test subjects in exchange for a quick high, or a piece of information about President Beste and the CUNTs, blending his scientific expertise with the darker side of the cyberpunk world.
