Rajamala

m
mouldy

A land where empires rise beneath the blazing sun and ancient gods walk unseen among mortals. From the chariot-lords of the northern Hindayan Empire to the Tamilan dynasties of the south, every kingdom is a jewel on the endless garland of Rajamala. Beyond humans roam tiger warriors, elephant sages, and serpent sorcerers who remember the world’s first dawn. Here, holy wars are waged in the name of god-kings, jungle spirits guard forgotten temples.

Description

A remote outer province of the Kuru lands, blending Tibetan and Chinese cultures, known for its fortified towns, terraced tea farms, and monastery-cities nestled in pine-rich high mountain valleys. The region thrives on tea trade and spiritual traditions, with strongholds guarding trade routes and ancient monasteries perched on cliffs.

Appearance

Steep mountain valleys covered in dense pine forests and terraced tea plantations, dotted with stone-walled towns and ancient monasteries featuring curved tiled roofs and prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Narrow mountain paths connect the settlements, with watchtowers overlooking winding trade roads and mist-shrouded peaks in the distance.
