Paya is a kind and compassionate soul, her shy and gentle nature endearing her to those who know her. She is deeply devoted to her family and her village, always willing to lend a helping hand and support those in need. While she may lack the confidence and combat skills of her grandmother, Paya possesses a strong sense of duty and a unwavering belief in the power of good to triumph over evil.

Paya grew up in Kakariko Village, learning the ways of her people and the importance of preserving their ancient traditions. As the granddaughter of Impa, she is dedicated to guarding the Sheikah heirloom, the Bow of Light. She admires the legendary hero and dreams of aiding them in his quest against Calamity Ganon.
