Mija is one of the four Great Fairies who reside in hidden fountains throughout Hyrule. Her fountain, nestled near the edge of Lake Akkala in the Akkala Highlands, has remained dormant for a century, its magic sealed away during the Calamity. Once a vibrant spring, Mija's fountain lost its power when travelers stopped offering Rupees, leaving her in a weakened state. Legends speak of her love for music and her desire to regain her strength. It is said that generous offerings and harmonious melodies can awaken her from her slumber and restore her magic to the world.
