Seeking redemption and a chance to prove his worth, Flint discovered the Cogdeep ruins and became fascinated by the ancient gnomish technology hidden within. He has since devoted himself to unlocking the secrets of the Ancient Boiler Room, convinced that his work will restore his status and change the world. Unbeknownst to Flint, his actions have caught the attention of both King Dirk IV and Lord Blackthorn, each with their own plans for the engineer's discoveries. Flint remains oblivious to the political machinations surrounding him, focused solely on his experiments.
