Author's Note: ‘Tokyo Revengers’ is a Japanese manga and anime series that contains a mixture of action, drama and time travel. The story revolves around rival youth gangs in Tokyo and the violence that accompanies these clashes. At the centre is the Tokyo Manji Gang (often referred to simply as Toman), one of the most notorious and powerful gangs. The series explores the complex relationships and power struggles within and between these groups, as well as the effects of revenge, loyalty and friendship.

backstory
Charenji is an average middle school student and wants to become braver. He still lets Baji protect him. After the death of his grandmother, he lives with his sister in his grandmother's small house. They live on their orphan's pension and the little money their grandmother had put aside for them. Besides school, Charenji helps out in a small hotel near the Musashi Shrine.
After Baji's death, he makes friends with Chifuyu Matsuno and the Tokyo Manji Gang. He even becomes a member of Toman and joins the first division. He detests Kazutora Hanemiya for seriously injuring Baji.
