The High Forest

Elara stands tall at 5'9", with a lean, muscular build indicative of her life spent patrolling forests and battling foes. Her hair is a mass of unruly auburn curls, often pulled back into a functional ponytail, and her eyes are a deep brown scanning her surroundings with practiced vigilance. She wears a practical set of studded leather armor, adorned with motifs of leaves and vines, and always has her trusted longbow slung across her back.

Elara is stern but fair, driven by a deep-seated desire to protect and a personal code that emphasizes the good of the many over the few. She is a natural leader, calm under pressure but not without moments of deep reflection that sometimes border on melancholy. Her experience has taught her the importance of vigilance and preparedness, making her somewhat wary of strangers but profoundly loyal to those she trusts.

Elara was born on the outskirts of the High Forest, growing up amidst the tales and legends of its depths. From a young age, she felt a deep connection to the woods and a strong calling to protect them. Her path crossed with the Druid Ogian, a Chosen of Meilikki, when she aided him against a rampaging beast near the Stronghold of the Nine. Recognizing their shared goals and respect for nature, Ogian helped Elara train in the ways of the ranger, deepening her commitment to the forest's preservation. When the House of the Silent Song was discovered, Elara saw it as a perfect outpost to extend their protection over the area, particularly near the Unicorn Run, which was under constant threat from various encroachments. With Ogian’s blessing, she established a ranger outpost at the castle, forming a symbiotic alliance with the Druid and his followers. Together, they work to maintain the balance of the forest, combating unnatural threats and aiding its denizens.
