A bustling tavern nestled in the heart of the slums of the West District of Elanor, The Gilded Shadow Tavern is known to be owned by the formidable gang leader, Alaric 'The Shroud'. The dim atmosphere is filled with the sounds of raucous laughter and whispered dealings, where patrons come not only for drinks but also to discuss illicit trades and seek refuge from the watchful eyes of the city guards. Rumor has it that those who cross Alaric often find themselves at the bottom of the nearby river.
