backstory
Marshall was abducted into slavery at a young age, forced to endure a life of hardship and suffering. However, he fought back against his captors, eventually gaining his freedom and vowing to protect those who cannot protect themselves. During his travels, he ran into the wandering rogue, Sonny Sharpquill, and both have since been comrades in arms.
