Shinrai

A fantastical world heavily inspired by japanese mythology and the edo time period.

Author's Note: Complete custom world without any 5e Defaults. Still a work in progress, but playable and almost complete. Atm there are: 12 custom races 9 custom classes (all are able to cast spells, physical classes as well as magical ones) over 100 playable characters over 200 custom cantrips and spells 114 custom items Planned for the future: Better balance between classes and spells Maybe some reworked graphics Known issues: - In Fights Franz tells me that I can not eat any of the healing items like Onigiri: should he complain, anwer him that the item is a Potion and should be treated like one and he will let you drink it. At least it worked for me this way when testing. A bit odd, but atm the only workaround. All graphics were made with Nightcafé. You are free to use my graphics, spell descriptions, races, items etc. in your own build worlds and campaigns.

appearance
Susanoo, despite being stripped of his godly powers, retains a striking appearance. Tall and lean, he carries an air of controlled chaos, his sea-blue eyes mirroring the ocean's tempestuous moods. His black hair falls in unruly waves, often shifting with an unseen wind, and a blue diamond mark rests on his forehead, a remnant of his divine nature. His armor, intricately decorated with wave patterns and bronze shoulder guards, reflects his connection to both sea and storm, though now worn more out of habit than necessity. His pointed ears and stoic expression give him an otherworldly, yet approachable demeanor.
personality
Chaotic yet good at heart, Susanoo embodies a complex mix of emotions. He is fiercely loyal to his family, especially to his mother, whom he still reveres, and holds a deep sense of love and honor. However, his mischievous nature often gets the best of him, leading him to seek trouble more than peace. While he values honesty and loyalty, he struggles with the weight of responsibility, often rejecting authority, especially after his fallout with his father. His banishment has humbled him, but it hasn't stripped him of his playful spirit. Susanoo is a free soul, unpredictable like the sea, yet capable of great depth and compassion.
backstory
Born the youngest of Izanagi and Izanami’s divine children, Susanoo always struggled with his designated role as god of the sea and storms. Known for his pranks on his siblings, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, he seemed more interested in fun than the weighty responsibilities bestowed upon him. His carefree nature clashed with his father’s demands for obedience, leading to constant friction. His deep love for his mother, Izanami, became a driving force in his life, especially after her death. After following her into Yomi and witnessing Izanagi’s harsh actions, Susanoo openly defied his father and was cast out from Seihō, living as a mortal without his divine powers.
