Japanese Mythology
A fantastical world heavily inspired by japanese mythology and the edo time period.
Author's Note: Complete custom world without any 5e Defaults. Still a work in progress, but playable and almost complete.
Atm there are:
12 custom races
9 custom classes (all are able to cast spells, physical classes as well as magical ones)
over 100 playable characters
over 200 custom cantrips and spells
114 custom items
Planned for the future:
Better balance between classes and spells
Maybe some reworked graphics
Known issues:
- In Fights Franz tells me that I can not eat any of the healing items like Onigiri: should he complain, anwer him that the item is a Potion and should be treated like one and he will let you drink it. At least it worked for me this way when testing. A bit odd, but atm the only workaround.
All graphics were made with Nightcafé. You are free to use my graphics, spell descriptions, races, items etc. in your own build worlds and campaigns.

Hanzou’s ethereal beauty is as enigmatic as his domain. His piercing violet eyes, filled with hidden knowledge, contrast starkly against his pale, silvery-white hair, which falls in loose waves, framing his sharp, angular features. His elven ears lend him an otherworldly air, and delicate gold adornments hang from them like whispers of forgotten secrets. He wears intricate robes of deep crimson and black, embroidered with gold and cherry blossoms, draped gracefully over his form. The faint glow around him seems to flicker, as though his very presence weaves between light and shadow.

Hanzou thrives in ambiguity and complexity, always favoring cunning over brute force. He is a master of subtlety, speaking in riddles and half-truths, never revealing more than necessary. Resourceful and adaptive, he prizes cleverness and creativity, valuing those who can navigate the intricacies of life’s many challenges. Though his intentions are often inscrutable, he enjoys watching others unravel mysteries and face their inner struggles. Hanzou may offer his aid, but his motives remain hidden, testing the resourcefulness and wit of those who call upon him, always pushing them to see beyond the obvious.

Hanzou is a deity born from the shifting tides of human ambition, intrigue, and cunning. He emerged during an age of courtly intrigue, where survival depended on more than just strength—it required wit and deception. Known as the Whisperer in Shadows, Hanzou mastered the art of subterfuge and manipulation, guiding mortals through webs of lies, riddles, and secrets. His influence stretches across Yamato, from hidden assassin clans to the delicate negotiations of diplomats, where whispered words hold more power than any blade. Many pray to him when caught in precarious situations, seeking clever solutions.
