Barnivan is a curious and optimistic gnome, always eager to learn and experience new things. He has a strong sense of independence and resilience, honed from his time working the land. Despite being far from home, he carries with him a deep sense of loyalty to his family and roots.

Barnivan, a gnome farmer, grew up in a close-knit community nestled in the rolling hills of the countryside. His family had been farmers for generations, tending to their crops with love and dedication. However, as Barnivan grew older, he felt a deep yearning to explore beyond the familiar fields and rustic cottages of his hometown. Despite his family's reluctance, he made the difficult decision to leave home and strike out on his own, seeking new adventures and challenges in distant lands. With a heavy heart but a determined spirit, Barnivan bid farewell to his loved ones and set off on a journey of self-discovery. Captain Kramresh of the Dauntless hired Darian Greyhaven, Barnivan, Thalgrin Stonefist and Verlann to defend his cargo on a dangerous crossing across the Misty Waters of the Nelanthar and they succeeded in defending against a deadly pirate attack.
