If you are playing a symbiote and want the symbiote to act as a character use a custom instruction similar to this.
I guess I forgot he turned the world over to me cause I helped build it. Looks like you already got it but I'll give an example custom instruction.
Create a narrative where the main character is a symbiote host of *insert symbiote name*. Treat the symbiote as a character that interacts with the player character. *insert relationship status (they have an uneasy relationship)*. *Insert Symbiote's name* personality is *insert a very brief personality (i.e. is hyperactive and enjoys teasing the main character).*
