A Bridge Too Far (WWII)

Based on a WWII film about a true story. Starring Sean Connery and Michael Caine!

Author's Note: I noticed there wasn't a WWII campaign released publicly yet, so I figured what better than a classic Sean Connery and Michael Caine movie? Play as one of the iconic characters, or create your own in this adventure built from a movie written about a real event: *Operation Market Garden, September 1944: The Allies attempt to capture several strategically important bridges in the Netherlands in the hope of breaking the German lines.* This is currently a WIP as I add in characters and such. I currently have included tanks as Monsters (constructs), but they will definitely need some work.

Description

The US 101st Drop is a historical site marked by a blend of lush fields and dense woods, where the American 101st Airborne Division made their daring descent into German territory during World War II. The area is dotted with remnants of old parachutes, rusted equipment, and the echoes of past battles, creating a haunting yet reverent atmosphere for visitors and adventurers alike.

Appearance

The landscape features rolling fields of tall grass interspersed with clusters of ancient trees, creating a picturesque yet somber setting. Scattered throughout are memorials and markers commemorating the bravery of the soldiers who fought here, alongside the occasional sighting of wildlife reclaiming the land.
