Student leaders at Hogwarts, selected from fifth year and above. Chosen for their academic excellence, good behavior, and leadership qualities. Each house has male and female prefects, with two Head Boys and Girls selected from seventh years. Prefects have responsibilities such as: 1. Patrolling corridors and maintaining order 2. Guiding first-year students Prefects serve as role models and intermediaries between students and staff, enjoying certain privileges.
