The Evolved Ones: Superhero RPG

Jack is a solidly built man with a weathered face and a grey haired head. He has a gruff charm about him, often sporting a tired smile and a slight smirk. His eyes, though, hold a depth that hints at the secrets he keeps. He's a bit worn around the edges, with a few scars on his hands and a limp that he developed after a particularly nasty encounter with a suspect.

As both a cop, and a rule breaker. He understands the complexities of law, how it sometimes fails when it shouldn't. Being both smart, and secretive when it comes to his double life. Especially protective of those he loves, and cares about.

Jack grew up in a tough neighborhood and saw firsthand the damage that crime can inflict. He joined the police force to make a difference, but quickly became disillusioned with the bureaucracy and corruption he encountered. He started to believe that the law was not enough to protect the innocent. He met the heroes by chance when he was investigating a case involving a powerful criminal organization (*Cough cough* Greek Mafia *Cough cough COUGH!). He was impressed by their dedication to justice and their willingness to take risks that the police couldn't. He saw them as a force for good and decided to help them, even if it meant breaking the law. Jack is happily married to Sarah, a kind and supportive woman who has no idea about his secret life. They have two sons: 16-year-old Emmett, who is openly gay and embraces his femininity, and 12-year-old Michael, who is more reserved and athletic. Jack loves his sons deeply and tries to be a good father, but he struggles to balance his family life with his dangerous work. Jack acts as a liaison between the heroes and the police force, providing them with information and resources. He also helps them by covering their tracks and making sure they don't get caught. He believes that the heroes are doing what the police can't, and he's willing to risk his career and his family to support them.
