Just beyond the eastern walls of Athkatla, the Cemetery lies in solemn stillness between the Grave District and the farmlands beyond. This vast necropolis serves as the final resting place for nobles, merchants, adventurers, and commoners alike. Carefully segregated by class and creed, its grounds are dotted with elaborate family mausoleums, simple stone markers, and centuries-old tombs now overtaken by ivy and time. Though officially maintained by the city, rumors persist of necromantic rituals and illicit dealings after dusk, especially near the older crypts. The Cemetery is also a site of pilgrimage during the Feast of the Moon, when mourners leave coin offerings at the graves of Waukeen’s faithful. To the south, the land slopes gently toward the golden fields, while the north remains overshadowed by the old prison’s crumbling walls. Guards patrol by day, but by night, even they are hesitant to linger.

Tall cypress trees line worn stone paths that wind through a sprawling expanse of graves. Gilded mausoleums shimmer faintly beside crumbling statues and moss-covered tombs. A chill breeze carries the scent of damp earth and incense. The atmosphere is hushed—still, but never quite silent.
