Though vital to the city’s wealth, this district is notorious for lawlessness, harboring smugglers, pirates, and the lurking influence of the Shadow Thieves. Sailors from Calimshan to the Moonshae Isles disembark here for shore leave, often vanishing into seedy taverns like the Copper Coronet. These docks are more than a maritime hub—they are a crucible of espionage, political manipulation, and hidden allegiances. Beneath their raucous surface, the Harpers, slavers, spies, and street prophets all scrape for control. Yet in spite of the danger, the docks thrum with life: trade goods, mercenaries, exotic beasts, and whispers from across Faerûn all pass through this splintered gateway to the sea.
