A simple wooden door leads into a central, enclosed courtyard paved with smooth stones. Clay pots filled with vibrant flowering plants and fragrant herbs line the courtyard walls, offering splashes of color and life. The main living quarters open onto this private space, providing a cool and shaded retreat from the heat of the olive grove. A small, covered well sits in one corner of the courtyard, providing fresh water for the household.

The courtyard is adorned with silvery-green olive trees, a small vegetable garden, and a few chickens pecking about. Nearby, a lean-to stores tools for tending the olive trees, while a couple of donkeys graze lazily, ready for transport and light work.
