Description
: The Heartwood Horror is a semi-sentient being, more akin to a force of nature than a thinking creature. It exists in a state of perpetual hunger, drawing sustenance from the life force of the island itself. It is not actively malicious, but its very presence corrupts the surrounding environment, causing plants to wither, animals to sicken, and the air to grow heavy with miasma. It reacts violently to any perceived threat, lashing out with its thorny vines and unleashing blasts of necrotic energy. It is a passive force of corruption, its mere existence a blight upon the vibrant ecosystem of Galatagos
