The Boilerplate Bastion serves as the imposing fortress of the Chancellor-Inventor, a key figure in the Gearwright Republic. This castle is fortified with intricate clockwork mechanisms and serves as a hub for innovation and strategy, housing a war council chamber where plans for defense and invention are devised, alongside a secure vault containing blueprints of forbidden technologies.

The fortress is a blend of stone and metal, with towering spires adorned with gears and steam vents. Its walls are lined with intricate engravings depicting the history of invention, and the air is filled with the sound of whirring machinery and the scent of oil and metal.
