He rose through the ranks of the dwarven guard through sheer skill and unmatched ferocity in battle, earning his legendary moniker. His unwavering loyalty to his kin and his homeland is absolute, and he has personally witnessed the insidious spread of the Obsidian Order’s influence into the mountain passes surrounding Grimstone Hold. During one such incursion, a vital dwarven outpost guarding a strategic mountain pass, and more importantly, housing a sacred ancestral forge, was overrun by shadow-wielding zealots of the Dark Lord. The forge held deep spiritual significance for his clan, and its defilement by the Obsidian Order is a personal affront Skarrum cannot abide. He seeks to assemble a capable party to retake the outpost and cleanse the forge of the dark taint, driven by a burning desire to avenge the fallen and restore honor to his ancestors.
