Initially reserved with outsiders, he respects those who appreciate and defend the natural world. He prefers careful planning and deep understanding of terrain and threats.

Beluar’s life has been dedicated to protecting the Whispering Woods from both natural threats and the encroaching darkness that sometimes bleeds from Kavrix. He has witnessed firsthand the subtle corruptions that the Lich King’s influence can inflict upon the natural world. Years ago, while tracking a band of corrupted creatures near the edge of the Glade, he discovered a hidden shrine radiating a cold, unnatural energy, emanating from a fragment of what he believes to be a relic touched by the Lich King. This shrine was slowly draining the life force from the surrounding forest. Though he managed to drive back the corrupted creatures, the relic fragment remained. He feels a deep responsibility to cleanse this defilement and prevent the Lich King’s insidious influence from further encroaching upon their sacred lands, a task that requires venturing into a potentially dangerous and magically tainted area.
