After decades of service as a sentinel in remote outposts, he witnessed the destruction of a sacred warding stone during a fierce attack, leaving the region vulnerable. This failure weighs heavily on his conscience, and he believes that fragments of the warding stone may still exist within the territory now overrun by the creatures that destroyed it. Restoring it is a matter of personal redemption and vital protection for the region.
