Description

Beneath the Cradle of Undoing, past a gate etched with names that no longer appear in history books, lies a corridor of stone silence. The Cell of the Bound is no prison in the traditional sense—it is a reliquary of regret. Seven arched chambers line the wall, each sealed by translucent stone that hums with fractured light. Inside each cell drifts a suspended echo: the soul-shadow of a summoner who once called the Unmaker into the world. These aren't ghosts, nor memories, but something stranger—stuttering loops of thought and feeling, endlessly reliving the instant their will became consequence. Some scream, some kneel, some pray. None move forward. Their pain is not punishment—it is fuel. The Cradle draws its stability from their looping remorse, anchoring itself in a world that should have collapsed. To tamper here is to risk unraveling the Unmaker’s mooring… or finding the truth of why they were ever summoned at all.

Appearance

The hallway is dim, lit only by pale blue veins pulsing through the stone, like slow heartbeats. Each echo glows faintly within its cell, shapes flickering like half-seen figures beneath ice. The air is thick and oddly still, disturbed only by the distant sound of sobbing that may not come from any mouth. The stones underfoot are worn smooth by pacing—though no feet have walked here in years.
