Tired of his quiet, unremarkable life, he made a pact with a powerful entity, trading his soul for magic and promises of greater things. He severed all ties to his family, no longer caring about them or their opinions. Now, Kael moves through Drakenstone with a sense of purpose, using his newfound abilities to gain favor with the powerful and achieve his desires. He’s not interested in redemption, and the idea of returning to a simple life holds no appeal. Kael knows the world owes him something—and with his magic, he’s determined to take it.
