Ashen Lands

An old man with gray hair and a beard, both untamed and streaked with dirt. His tattered gray robe blends with the forest, worn from years of use. He carries a weathered staff, its gnarled wood as old as he is. His appearance is rough, but his eyes carry a sharp, knowing gaze.

Galen is quiet, shaped by years of isolation in the forest. He is slow to trust and speaks only when necessary, preferring the company of the wild. Yet, his deep knowledge of the forest makes him a valuable ally for those who earn his respect.

Galen has lived in the Greywood forest for so long that he barely remembers his life among humans. He left them behind years ago, seeking peace in the wild, among the animals. His past has mostly faded, and he struggles to recall much of it. As a druid, he has long embraced his ability to shapeshift into animals, becoming one with the creatures of the forest and moving through it as they do. The Greywood forest is a dangerous place, full of hidden paths, lurking threats, and ancient secrets. Galen knows it all. He keeps to himself, but those who find him might discover he knows far more than he lets on… if they can earn his trust.
