Once a loyal guard in a distant city within the Ashen Lands, Mongory upheld the law with discipline, protecting the city. When his superiors ordered him to slaughter innocents—peasants accused of treason for daring to defy their lord—he refused. His defiance was met with betrayal. Branded a traitor, stripped of his rank, and cast out under threat of death, he left behind everything he once swore to protect. With no home and no purpose, Mongory turned to bounty hunting criminals across the land. He is choosing his marks carefully and refusing to harm those who do not deserve it. Eventually, his travels have led him to Drakenstone.
